On January 12th, the "Innovation for the future, 100 listed companies entering the bright future - Green Innovation and ESG Sustainable Development Conference" was held in Shenzhen. At the award ceremony, Wingtech Technology was awarded the "Best ESG Practice Award for Listed Companies in 2023" for its outstanding performance in the field of environment, society, and governance (ESG).

ESG is an investment concept and enterprise evaluation standard that focuses on the environmental, social, and governance performance of enterprises. It can reflect the sustainable development ability of enterprises and has become one of the important dimensions for measuring the quality and investment value of listed companies on a global scale.

Listed companies are important entities in ESG practice. Wingtech will continue to strengthen ESG capacity building, actively implement the concept of sustainable development, and fulfill social responsibilities.

Since 2021, Wingtech has released social responsibility reports and has received ESG ratings from domestic and foreign institutions such as MSCI, Sustainalytics, Refinitiv, Quantdata, and Wind. In the past two years, Wingtech has won multiple honors and recognition in ESG related fields and evaluation systems, including the "2022 Forbes China Top 50 Sustainable Industrial Enterprises", the Securities Star "ESG New Benchmark Enterprise Award", and the Deloitte BMC "China Excellent Management Company" award. This award proves that Wingtech's efforts in the field of ESG have been recognized again.

In response to goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development, China's 2030 carbon peak and 2060 carbon neutrality, Wingtech is committed to achieving Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon neutrality by 2050, of which the company's semiconductor business will achieve this goal no later than 2035. At the same time, it will actively incorporate Scope 3 emissions into future emission reduction plans to improve the emission reduction performance of the entire industry chain.In addition, the company actively prepares for the formulation of scientific goals and will continue to carry out strategic and path planning work, strengthen the promotion of product R&D, the use of clean/renewable electricity in manufacturing processes, and strive to improve the realization of goals and paths by referring to the recommendations and guidelines of the SBTi.
